david var presents makes documentary films for brands. This page explains what we do with the details you give us when you book a premiere on davidvar.film or through one of our forms on Instagram or Facebook. Short version: we use them to reply to you, and nothing else.
What we collect
- Your name, email and phone number
- Your company or project name and your role
- The budget range you choose and anything you tell us about your story
- Basic, anonymous visit data on our website (pages viewed, the ad you came from), collected through the Meta Pixel
Why we collect it
To answer your enquiry, arrange a call and, if you want one, prepare a proposal. We may follow up a few times about your enquiry. We don't add you to a newsletter unless you ask, and we never sell or rent your details.
Who else handles it
Our website runs on Netlify, which receives the booking form. If you enquire through a form on Instagram or Facebook, Meta processes it and passes it to us. We keep enquiries in our own client system. These services hold your details only to provide their service to us.
How long we keep it
For as long as we are in touch about a project, and no longer than 24 months after our last conversation, unless we end up working together and need records for our accounts.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the details we hold about you at any time. Write to david@davidvar.film and we'll take care of it within 30 days.
Cookies and the Meta Pixel
We use the Meta Pixel to understand which of our ads bring people to the site. You can limit this in your browser settings or in your Facebook and Instagram ad preferences.
